The Liturgy of Advent

"The Liturgy of Advent" is a setting of holy communion dedicated to the sixtieth anniversary of Advent Lutheran Church in Toronto, Canada and used for the sixtieth anniversary service held on October 27, 2024. Originally conceived in 2011 and first used in that parish, "The Liturgy of Advent" has been reworked from the ground up with the addition of canticles and a completely original rubric that follows the Lutheran order of worship, with some Advent Lutheran additions.

The assembly edition contains the full rubric with melody-lines embedded only. The worship leaders edition contains the full keyboard accompaniment and can be easily adapted for the organ with a few adjustments.
